Livingston Shopping Center Undergoes Rebranding Effort

"The Village at Livingston" renamed "The Shoppes at the Livingston Circle."

The Village at Livingston – a 93,000-square-foot shopping center is owned and managed by Eastman Companies - will be rebranded and renamed “The Shoppes at the Livingston Circle.”

According to a release, the rebranding effort is being done to “better reflect [the center’s] position as a dynamic regional shopping destination within the Essex-Morris county submarket.”

The new name is inspired by the shopping center’s location at the intersection of Route 10 and Eisenhower Parkway, near the Livingston traffic circle, according to Peter Schofel, Eastman’s co-managing partner.

“The Village at Livingston has been a retail mainstay in Livingston for more than 20 years,” stated Schofel. “In the coming months, shoppers can expect to see changes such as an updated logo and new signage to reinforce the center’s new brand identity in the marketplace.”

Upscale specialty grocer, The Fresh Market, joined the shopping center’s retail mix last fall, occupying a 23,000-square-foot portion of the former Pathmark store. In addition, natural pet products retailer Choice Pet Supply celebrated its grand opening at The Shoppes at the Livingston Circle last fall, while Ike’s Bagel Café and national chain Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa are slated to open later this spring.

According to a release, the 16.1-acre property serves a growing residential population of more than 158,000 people within a five-mile radius. The marketplace offers an average household income of more than $141,000, and the daily traffic count exceeds 39,000 vehicles.
