Livingston Stands With Hospital Workers, Cops During Coronavirus
The Livingston community is standing tall in the coronavirus crisis alongside its health care workers and local emergency responders.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston community is standing tall in the coronavirus crisis alongside its health care workers and local emergency responders.
The Livingston Police Department recently reported a heartwarming donation from several Chinese residents: 8,000 face masks. The masks – which will be used to help police and other Livingston public workers stay safe on the job as COVID-19 spreads throughout the township – were the result of 10 days of strenuous work.
“We would like to thank the Chinese community for this,” Livingston police stated. “United we stand.”

Meanwhile, Livingston’s restaurants have been chipping in to feed local police officers during the past two weeks.
“Special thanks to Stuart Benjamin who organized most of this and then cooked breakfast sandwiches himself for our officers today,” the LPD wrote Monday. “It is greatly appreciated.”
At Saint Barnabas Medical Center, nurses, doctors and other health care workers on the frontline of the crisis have been selflessly putting their patients’ health first for weeks.
Hospital administrators have been sharing glimpses into their new normal on social media, praising the entire staff for their professionalism and compassion.
