Livingston Students Earn 2017 National Merit Scholarships
3 Livingston students captured prestigious National Merit scholarships this year.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A trio of Livingston students were named among the 2017 National Merit scholarship winners. Nationwide, 2,500 Merit Scholar designees were chosen from a talent pool of more than 15,000 high-achieving finalists in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program.

- Andrew Huang of Livingston High School (planned career: neurosurgery)
- Annie Song of Livingston High School (planned career: medicine)
In addition, Lisa R. Peng of Livingston High School earned a National Merit corporate scholarship from The Novartis Group. She expects to enter the field of engineering, a news release stated.
