Livingston Summer Concert Series Returns For 2016

Livingston, NJ – There’s nothing that spells the beginning of summer like an outdoor concert.

This year, Regal Bank will sponsor the 8th annual Livingston Summer Concert Series, featuring free, live musical performances every Sunday evening in July.

All concerts take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Gazebo at Memorial Field in Livingston, a news release stated.

In case of inclement weather, shows will be held in the Livingston High School Auditorium.

Participants are welcome to bring blankets, beach chairs and picnic food, a release stated.

Entertainment for 2016 includes:

• The Infernos (classic rock and pop)
• The B-Street Band (Bruce Springsteen tribute)
• Park Avenue (doo-wop)
• AM Gold (Hall & Oates and Steely Dan tribute)

The 2016 Livingston Summer Concert Series schedule follows:

• Sunday, July 10 | The Infernos | Music of the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s and today
• Sunday, July 17 | Park Avenue  | Classic Doo-Wop
• Sunday, July 24 | AM Gold | Hall & Oates/Steely Dan Tribute Band performing hits from 1975-85
• Sunday, July 31 | The B-Street Band | Longest Running Bruce Springsteen Tribute Band

According to a news release, Regal Bank is also bringing back its “Summer Concert Series Photo Contest.” During the shows, concertgoers can post their event photos on Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #RegalBankConcert. Winners will be selected based on creativity, originality, aesthetics, engagement and theme. Weekly winners will be announced at the end of each performance and will receive a $50 gift card. At the end of the series, one grand-prize winner will receive a $100 gift card. Complete contest details and official rules can be found on the Regal Bank Facebook page.
