Livingston SYLS Offers Senior Bus Trip To Free Bobby Rydell Concert

Livingtson Senior, Youth and Leisure Services has organized a bus trip to a concert featuring Bobby Rydell on September 19.

From the Township of Livingston: Livingtson Senior, Youth and Leisure Services (SYLS) has organized a bus trip to the PNC Arts Center for a concert featuring Bobby Rydell on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. The concert is free for residents aged 55 and older.

The bus will depart the Livingston Senior/Community Center (204 Hillside Avenue) at 10:30 a.m., and the concert begins at 1:30 p.m. A bus fee of $15 per person applies.

Pre-registration is required by Friday, September 8, online or in person at the SYLS Office, open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and located at the Senior/Community Center.

Senior performances are presented free of charge by the Garden State Arts Foundation for New Jersey's senior citizens and residents with special needs.

Bobby Rydell is an American singer who was considered a teen idol in the early 1960s. His most popular songs include "Wild One" and "Volare,” and he appeared in the 1963 film adaptation of Bye Bye Birdie.
