Livingston Symphony Orchestra's Fall Concert: 'An Evening of Fantasy'

The Livingston Symphony Orchestra will present their Fall concert on Saturday, November 4th at 7:30 p.m.

LIVINGSTON, NJ - From the Livingston Symphony Orchestra: Maestro Anthony LaGruth and the Livingston Symphony Orchestra will present 'An Evening of Fantasy' on Saturday, November 4, at 7:30 p.m., in the Livingston High School Auditorium, 30 Robert Harp Drive, Livingston, NJ.

NJ composer Patrick Ippolito's "Fanfare Overture" opens the 2017-2018 season in regal fashion, followed by Engelbert Humperdinck's exciting "Witches Ride" from his popular Hansel and Gretel. The mood then shifts to peaceful tranquility through Oscar winning composer John Barry's score from "Dances with Wolves."

The highlight of the evening, Berlioz's exhilarating "Symphony Fantastique," brings the evening to a close with his autobiographically-inspired dream of a passionate and unrequited love.
