Livingston Teen Biker Hit By Car: Belmont Drive and South Ashby Avenue

The driver of the car allegedly told police that he honked the horn and attempted to swerve out of the way, a report says.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A Livingston teen suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a car struck him at the intersection of Belmont Drive and South Ashby Avenue last week, authorities say.

A vehicle traveling westbound on Belmont Drive approached the intersection at the same time as the male teen, who reportedly didn’t see the car coming, police told TAP Into Livingston.

The driver of the car reportedly told police that he honked the horn and attempted to swerve out of the way, but was unable to move in time, authorities stated.

Emergency responders transported the teen to an area hospital where he was treated for his injuries, police said.
