LIVINGSTON, NJ —A group of Livingston High sophomores-to-be, and one eighth-grader-to-be, have founded a nonprofit designed to help students in their community, while investing in students and families globally.

According to a press release, Teaching4Charity was founded in mid-June and offers student-led online courses to local children in third through 11th grade. Courses run on a week-to-week basis and are offered in coding, public speaking, math, English and digital art. The elder students create the curriculum.

Meanwhile, all proceeds from the courses are donated to charities helping people in Cambodia and Uganda. According to the founders of Teaching4Charity, the group will be donating to organizations that improve education systems, improve parents' technical skills and provide necessities to struggling, poverty-stricken families.
