Livingston Town Council To Consider Zoning Changes And Other Matters Monday

LIVINGSTON, NJ — At its next (virtual) meeting Monday, Dec. 6, the Livingston Town Council will consider a new development zone and other matters.

The Regular Meeting will take place virtually at 7 p.m.

At that meeting, there will be a public hearing on Ordinance 7-2021 to establish a New Inclusionary Development Zone Designated as the "R-5 L Residence Overlay District."

The council will also vote on measures:

• Authorizing the town to sell property on South Ashby Avenue to Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity of Newark has already begun work on two projects in Livingston.
• Adopting the Cedar Street Commons Redevelopment Plan Amendment
• Amending A Measure Regarding The Inclusionary Adult Residential Overlay District
• Authorizing the sale of parts of properties to contiuous property owners
• Modifying the sewer and water connection fees.
