Livingston Town-Wide Campout Canceled Again: UPDATE
UPDATE: Due to rain in the forecast, Livingston's Town-Wide Campout and Movie Under the Stars will NOT be held on Saturday, July 21.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — UPDATE: Livingston town officials issued the following advisory on Friday: "Due to rain in the forecast, Livingston's Town-Wide Campout and Movie Under the Stars will NOT be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018. The event will be rescheduled to Saturday, August 18. Our original article follows below.
The campout is back on, Livingston. After being rained out in May, Livingston Township has rescheduled a family-friendly “Town-Wide Campout” at the Memorial Oval on Robert H. Harp Drive from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 21.
“All Livingston families” are invited to bring tents and “camp out under the stars,” town officials stated in an event flyer.

A movie screening of “Coco” will be rescheduled due to possible rain, officials said. (Livingston officials said they plan to post updates on rain-related changes on Facebook, see below)
According to town officials, Boy Scout Troops 12 and 16 and Cub Scout Packs 12 and 16 will lead the evening’s events, which will include:

- 4:30 to 5 p.m. – tent setup
- 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. – games and activities for kids
- 7:30 p.m. – campfire
