The Livingston Police Department will hold its second annual Junior Police Academy this summer.

The Livingston Police Department will hold its second annual Junior Police Academy this summer. The objective is a week of education and fun through a police academy format. The curriculum will include various presentations from guest law enforcement agencies, field trips, hands-on activities, and physical training to give the recruits an idea of what is involved in becoming a Police Officer.

Eligibility and Cost

All applicants must be Livingston residents who are entering sixth, seventh, or eighth grade in the fall of 2021. There will be a fee of $75 per attendee.

Program Dates

The Academy will be held from July 12 through July 16, 2021, from 7:45 am to 4:00 pm.

How to Apply

Applications will be available beginning March 2, 2021 and will be accepted from March 22, 2021 at 9:00 am through April 16 at 3:00 pm. The class will be limited to 75 students, so register early.
