Livingston Township: Labor Day: Township Offices Closed; No Garbage/Recycling

Livingston Town Hall and all Township offices will be closed on Monday, September 6 in honor of the Labor Day holiday. All offices will reopen during regular business hours on Tuesday, September 7.

Residents are reminded that summer hours are still in effect for non-emergency Township offices, so the hours of operation on Friday, September 3 will be 8 am – 1 pm. The last day of the summer schedule will be Friday, September 10.

Garbage Collection

There will be no garbage collection on Monday, September 6. If your normal garbage collection day is Monday, your garbage will be picked up on the next regularly scheduled day, which is Thursday, September 9. 

Recycling Collection

Recycling will not be collected on Monday, September 6, and collection for all homes in Livingston will move to the next day all week. Therefore, Monday’s recycling (Zone 1) will instead be picked up on Tuesday, 9/7; Tuesday’s (Zone 2) on Wednesday, 9/8; Wednesday’s (Zone 3) on Thursday, 9/9; Thursday’s (Zone 4) on Friday, 9/10; and Friday’s (Zone 5) on Saturday, 9/11.
