Livingston Township: Winter Holiday Closures & Reminders

The Township of Livingston reminds residents of holiday closures and changes to the garbage collection schedule at the end of the year:

Christmas Eve/Christmas Day 

All Township offices will be closed on Friday, December 24, 2021 for Christmas Eve. 

There will be no metal collection on Friday, December 24. However, garbage for those with Tuesday/Friday pickup and Zone 5 paper recycling will be collected on December 24 according to the usual schedule.

Saturday, December 25 – Christmas Day: No Garbage Collection

Garbage for those with Wednesday/Saturday pickup will be collected on the next regularly scheduled day, which is Wednesday, December 29. 

New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day

All Township offices will be closed on Friday, December 31, 2021 for New Year’s Eve. 

There will be no metal collection on Friday, December 31. However, garbage for those with Tuesday/Friday pickup and Zone 5 commingled recycling will be collected on December 31 according to the usual schedule.

Saturday, January 1 – New Year’s Day: No Garbage Collection

Garbage for those with Wednesday/Saturday pickup will be collected on the next regularly scheduled day, which is Wednesday, January 5.
