Talent Show For Those With Special Needs In Livingston Seeks Local Contestants
A talent show for special needs adults and kids in Livingston will return this May, and is looking for participants.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — Finding activities for kids with special needs can be a challenge at times — not to mention for the adults. But for the first time since 2019, the LACD (Livingston Advisory Committee for Disabilities) will host its annual talent show for children and adults with special needs, giving them a chance to show what they can do.
The program is planned for Wednesday, May 11.
The annual show had been canceled in 2020 and 2021 because of COVID, so it's making a triumphant return.

The event will take place in room T3 at the Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Ave., and will begin at 7 p.m.
The organizers said, "We welcome our special needs population to showcase their individual talents and shine in the spotlight. Come sing along to your favorite songs, dance to the tunes you love, or perform a magic trick. We invite you to share with us any of the special abilities that you have. Free snacks and drinks will be provided and all participants will receive a gift."
