Livingston's Retail Value is Going Up

Report: The town is becoming one of Northern New Jersey's "primary economic hubs."

Livingston is fast becoming one of the best places for retail businesses in New Jersey, according to a recent report.

  • Circle Plaza (home to Men’s Wearhouse, Dunkin Donuts and Bassett Furniture)
  • Livingston Fresh Market
  • Other national chains such as ULTA, 18/8 Fine Men’s Salon, The Container Store, Buy Buy Baby, World Market, DSW Shoes, TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack

Livingston Mayor Michael M. Silverman agreed with the report.

“You live here – or you might work here, too - and stop at a pharmacy or dry cleaner on your way home... then a quick trip to pick up a birthday or anniversary gift... while you’re out, maybe look at shoes or a new outfit for the kids... you run to the market to get dinner ingredients... then by the time you get home, you decide you don’t feel like cooking so you’ll save the food you bought for tomorrow and eat out tonight... And the entire time, you’re right here in Livingston.”
