Longtime Livingston Crossing Guard Hangs Up Her Vest
Mabel Massop is retiring after three decades of service to the township. It's the "end of an era," as someone wrote online.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A longtime crossing guard in Livingston is retiring after three decades of service to the township.
The Livingston Police Department gave a fond farewell to Mabel Massop, who is hanging up her traffic vest after 30 years of helping local students cross the road in safety.
“We can’t thank her enough for all the hard work, dedication and for showing up day in and day out,” police wrote on social media. “Cheers, Mabel!”
