Longtime Livingston Police Chief Readies For Retirement
Craig Handschuch has tallied almost 40 years protecting and serving the Livingston community.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — He’s tallied almost 40 years protecting and serving the Livingston community. Now, Livingston Police Chief Craig Handschuch is preparing for a well-deserved retirement, which will begin on Sept. 1.
Handschuch officially announced his retirement on May 30 and will celebrate 40 years with the department on Aug. 7. He will also celebrate 10 years as chief on Aug. 3, TAP Into Livingston reported.

The Livingston Police Department posted a message on social media wishing its long-time chief a happy retirement:

“On behalf of the Livingston Police Department we would like to wish Chief Handschuch well wishes in his retirement. Even though he is not off the books until September, today is his last working day with us.”
