Lost and (Hopefully) Found

Livingston police are looking for a purr-fect ending.

Do you recognize this tiger cat? Livingston’s animal warden has been taking care of her since the cat was found 10 days ago injured near Burnet Hill School. “She’s a loveable cat,” said Det. Sgt. Anthony Dippold, who asked for help to find the owner.

The cat was wearing an animal print collar and bell when it was found bleeding on Burnet Hill Road on June 26. The cat’s chest and abdomen were cut and the township animal warden took her to a veterinarian, who stitched her up and saved her life, said Det. Sgt. Anthony Dippold. She’s been recovering at the township’s shelter.

If you recognize the cat, please call Livingston Police headquarters, (973) 992-3000 and ask for Jim Salvadore, the township’s animal warden, or leave a message.
