Madhubani Painting Workshop

With a great excitement we are offering children of age 6 yrs and older an opportunity to participate in a wonderful, bright and inspiring art workshop.
In the Do-Re-Mi, the 5-lessons course will be presented by Deepa Pisupati, an artist who keeps this ancient form of Indian art alive and blossoming.
The lessons will take place on Wed., 5:00-6:00, and Thu., 6:30-7:30 starting the next week and ending before Memorial Day: 4/22-23, 4/29-30, 5/6-7, 5/13-14, 5/20-21.
Children will start with learning traditional themes and techniques, such as “Sun”, “Tree”, “Flowers”, “Fish”, “Bird” and traditional borders. At the end children will create a complex work on a canvas.

There is a tuition/materials fee.
