Flood Watch Issued For Livingston Area: See Timeline
One Essex County town issued a list of streets that may flood if the Passaic River overflows.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for Sunday through Monday as a strong storm makes its way up the East Coast from Florida.
The flood watch is in effect from 5 p.m. Sunday through 5 p.m. Monday.
Updated guidance on Sunday says the "major coastal storm" could cause rivers to flood in northwestern New Jersey and bring as much as 5 inches of rain to the Essex County area starting Sunday.

The town of Fairfield even listed streets that may flood if the Passaic River overflows.
Revised forecasts call for 2-3 inches of rain to fall in Essex County on Sunday, and then as much as another 1-2 inches of rain on Monday.

Winds may gust as high as 33 MPH on Sunday evening, forecasters said.
As for impacts, "Heavy rain with a coastal storm Sunday night and Monday has potential to cause minor to moderate river and small stream flooding from Monday into Tuesday of next week."
The NWS forecast for Essex County says rain may start after 1 p.m. Sunday.
