Man Stole $13K Worth Of Sunglasses From Short Hills Mall, Police Say

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A Queens, N.Y. man has been charged with shoplifting after, according to police, he stole $13,000 in sunglasses from the Short Hills Mall last week.

Daryl Chambers, 53, of Queens, was arrested by Millburn police on Tuesday, Nov. 21 after five pairs of Cartier sunglasses were stolen from the Eyechic sunglass store at the mall, police said.

Police said Chambers was charged with shoplifting. "The merchandise was recovered on the suspect," they said.
