
Livingston High School students sure have business acumen.
The school's Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America competed in FBLA's 2010 National Leadership Conference, Simply the Best, from July 14 through July 17 in Nashville, Tennessee.
The LHS FBLA chapter had the most winners from any chapter in the nation.

LHS FBLA National Winners are:
- Saagar Deshpande and Paul Kim, Website Design, 10th Place Team
- Pooja Eppanapally, Allison Paisner, Joy Ming, Business Ethics, 1st Place Team
- Devin Grossman, Personal Finance, 4th Place Individual
- Raim Izhar, Elliot Naphtali, Daniel Stein, E-Business, 8th Place Team
- Justine Jang and Greg Lubin, Entrepreneurship, 9th Place Team
- Zach Lustbader, Introduction to Business, 1st Place Individual
- Alex Nie, Business Math, 8th Place Individual
- Elizabeth Yap, Business Law, 10th Place Individual
Students Derek Chen, Sports Management, Penny Hung, FBLA Principles and Procedures and LiAnne Giordano, Introduction to Business English, also participated in the National Leadership Conference.

The District's K-12 Business Education Supervisor, Debra Ostrowski, accompanied 17 students from LHS to complete in various competitive events. Each event had two individuals or groups representing their respective states. In addition, FBLA chapters from Department of Defense Dependent Schools, Europe, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands participated.
Of the 17 LHS students who participated, 14 were National winners.
