Maplewood Bicyclist Hospitalized After Collision In Essex County
The 57-year-old woman was riding near South Orange Avenue and Hobart Gap Road in Livingston, authorities say.
MAPLEWOOD, NJ — A bicyclist from Maplewood collided with a car at South Orange Avenue and Hobart Gap Road in Livingston on Saturday morning, leaving the 57-year-old woman in critical condition, authorities say.
The woman was passing through the intersection when her bike collided with the vehicle, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office stated. She was taken to a local hospital where she was listed in critical but stable condition, NJ.com reported.
Authorities are conducting an investigation; no charges have been filed.
