Maserati Stolen In Millburn, Crashed In Livingston: Report
A car crash involving a vehicle allegedly stolen from Millburn shut down a section of East Mt. Pleasant Avenue in Livingston, police said.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A car crash involving a vehicle allegedly stolen from Millburn shut down a section of East Mt. Pleasant Avenue in Livingston on Tuesday, authorities said.
The crash took place around 3:30 a.m. and involved a Maserati allegedly stolen from Millburn, police told TAP Into Livingston. (Read the full article here)
When officers attempted to stop the car – which was allegedly traveling at a high speed – it struck a telephone pole on East Mt. Pleasant Avenue. The driver then fled the scene on foot; a search of the area turned up negative, police said.

The Livingston Police Department posted the following advisory on Tuesday:
“Mt. Pleasant Ave. is closed from Livingston Avenue to Shrewsbury Dr. eastbound due to wires down… please plan an alternate route especially if going to the schools.”
