Meadowbrook Country Day Camp Celebrates “100 Days ‘Til Camp” on Facebook with a Charitable Donation

LONG VALLEY, NJ - To celebrate “100 Days ‘Til Camp,” Meadowbrook Country Day Camp, a camp many local children go to, which is located in Long Valley, held a charitable Facebook event on Saturday, March 22 asking old and new campers, staff, alumni and families to wear their favorite Meadowbrook shirts on March 22 and to post a photo of themselves donning the shirt on Facebook. Meadowbrook said it would donate $5 to SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education) for every picture posted that day.

With a final count of 98 photos, Meadowbrook Country Day Camp will be donating $500 to SCOPE on behalf of its campers and staff at the SCOPE annual dinner, which is being co-chaired by Meadowbrook Country Day Camp owner Roz Buck on April 10 in New York City.

"It means a lot to us to be able to donate to SCOPE on behalf of our campers and staff, not only because it is such a worthy cause, but because the donation comes from the heart--in this case 98 hearts," said Jed Buck, owner of Meadowbrook Country Day Camp.
