More Than 100 Tastings at The Arc of Essex County's Third Annual Uncorked & Uncapped: Wine, Beer, & Food Fest

Sept. 29th Event to Feature Nearly 40 Wine, Craft Beer, Spirits, and Restaurant Vendors, Benefiting Individuals with Special Needs

The Arc of Essex County will host its third annual Uncorked & Uncapped: Wine, Beer, and Food Fest on Thursday, September 29 at the Westminster Hotel in Livingston, NJ. The event will feature a fun-filled evening of fine wine, craft beer, spirits, and restaurant samplings, as well as a silent auction, 50/50, and awards program. All proceeds will benefit The Arc’s programs and services that help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families.

More than 100 samplings will be provided by nearly 40 prestigious establishments throughout the northeast. New names like Claremont Distillery, Dogfish Head, and Cupcakes by Carousel – who has been twice featured on Oprah’s Favorite Thing’s – have been added to the event line up along with cooking demonstrations and tastings from Caffe Navona and 321Chillz that are certain to get mouths watering.

Participating establishments include 321Chillz, Aidil Wines & Liquors, A-List Wines, Beach Haus Brewery, Bistecca, Caffe Navona Fine Cuisine & Piano Bar, Chef Jesse Jones Cuisine Catering, Claremont Distillery, Climax Brewing Company, Cupcakes by Carousel, Dogfish Head Brewing, Eight Hills Caterers, Familia Martinez Bujanda, Fedway, Flying Fish Brewing Company, Jimmy John’s, Lone Eagle Brewing Company, Magnify Brewing Company, Miss Nicky’s Gourmet Toffee, Nero’s Grill, Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, New Jersey Beer Company, Nicastro’s Sauces, Oil and Vinegar, Oskar Blues Brewery, Piattino Summit, Poor Henry’s Pub & Restaurant, River Horse Brewing, Sierra Nevada, Sixpoint Brewery, Strip House, Uva Wines & Spirits, Verona Inn, Villalobos, Vital, Weyerbacher Brewing Company, and Winebow.

Honoring the partnerships that have been integral to the agency’s success, The Arc of Essex County will present the following awards:

  • Corporate Partner Award: Embassy Suites of Parsippany
  • Public Partner Award: John Duthie, Mayor of Roseland
  • Community Partner Award: Rotary Club of Livingston
  • Lifetime Achievement Award: Herb Lev

The evening will conclude with a 50/50 and silent auction. During the silent auction, event attendees can bid on airline tickets with a Disney timeshare, an in-home private dining experience prepared by a celebrity chef, and a wine and cheese tasting for twelve with limo service, to name a few.
