More July 4 Details Announced In Livingston: Fireworks, Auto Show, Closures

Livingston has posted two brochures for its July 4 activities, one for the festivities and fireworks, and one for the Auto Show.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston's got a full slate of activities for July 4, and announced more of them this week.

Livingston will host an AutoFest during the day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Livingston High School Parking Lot on Wahler Road.

The town will have other July 4 events that day, with kids' events starting at 10 a.m. Food trucks will arrive at 3 p.m. And later, there will be July 4 musical performances and fireworks. Most of those events will be held at or near the Memorial Oval on Robert Harp Drive.

The opening Patriotic Ceremony and Kiwanis Swim Karnival at Haines Pool start at 10 a.m.

Livingston Closures And Trash/Recycling Schedules

All Livingston Township offices will be closed on Monday, July 4, 2022 for Independence Day, the town said.

There will be no metal recycling pickup on Friday, July 1, and not recycling collection on July 4, the town said.

Garbage will be picked up on schedule.
