National Night Out Attracts Hundreds to Oval
Annual event promotes interaction between community and law enforcement officials while offering hands-on demonstrations and activities for children.
The Oval was the site of the 2013 National Night Out Tuesday evening. The event promotes an interaction between law enforcement, fire departments, community organizations and town residents.
The large crowd was exposed to exhibitions that included a NJ State Police helicopter, tactical police gear and high tech equipment. There were exhibits by the Cub Scouts, EMTs, youth football and lacrosse organizations.
