New Jersey Actor Stars as Martin Luther in CNN’s Original Series
Alexandru Aldea Makes his National Television Debut on Sunday, April 1st

[CALDWELL, NJ, March 28, 2018] Caldwell, New Jersey’s Alexandru Aldea brings Martin Luther’s story to life on Sunday, April 1st in CNN’s Original Series, POPE: The Most Powerful Man in History. This episode airs on CNN at 10 P.M. EST/PDT.
In the episode How the Reformation Divided the Church, Alexandru Aldea recreates Martin Luther’s signing of the 95 Theses. Through Liam Neeson’s narration, exclusive interviews and dramatic recreations, the fourth episode of the series reveals how this historical event sparked the protestant reformation and divided the Catholic Church.
“I am excited to portray Martin Luther and recreate such a symbolic moment in our history. I want people to take a deeper look at this defining moment and be able to feel what Martin Luther was feeling at that time. I want to bring his character to life and for people to really connect with him,” says Alexandru Aldea.

The six-part docuseries kicked off on March 11th and took viewers inside The Vatican to uncover the truth about the Head of the Roman Catholic Church. Alex will also make brief appearances in episode six of the series.
