New Jersey Golf Foundation (NJGF) Announces Partnership With Barnabas Health

Partnership Will Center on Promoting Wellness Programs; Barnabas Health to Serve as Founding Partner of New NJPGA/NJGF HQ in Bedminster, NJ

The New Jersey Golf Foundation (NJGF), the charitable arm of the New Jersey Section, PGA of America (NJPGA), today announced a multi-year partnership with Barnabas Health, the largest not-for-profit integrated health care delivery system in New Jersey.

The NJGF hosts a dynamic line-up of programming that provides access for individuals from all backgrounds - with a focus on youth, military, special needs - to experience the game of golf. To support the NJGF’s mission of impacting lives and communities through the game of golf, the Foundation teamed up with Barnabas Health and will integrate wellness activities into the NJGF’s core programming.

Additionally, Barnabas Health will become a Founding Partner of the new NJPGA/NJGF Headquarters, located at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, N.J. The new headquarters, which will be completed in late 2015, is highlighted by a state-of-the-art indoor/outdoor training facility and the NJPGA Hall of Fame – featuring historic photos and memorabilia from the greatest players and moments throughout New Jersey’s esteemed golf history. The NJPGA/NJGF, which consists of more than 400 PGA Professionals and Apprentices, along with a section/foundation staff, is responsible for growing the game of golf throughout the state and operating more than 100 member-based tournaments each year.

Barnabas Health will also be integrated into the PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) program in New Jersey.
