The inspiration for "Cadburry" happened when three local freshmen were walking around the Livingston Mall.

TV shows come in many varieties. Some are comedies, some are thrilling mysteries, and some are Cadburry, an all-new show produced right here in Livingston.
A weird world. A strange shopping center. Cadburry is a series that follows the story of one Davis Burningham, who finds himself in a strange new reality: the Cadburry Mall.

The project began with three people. Vineeth Kanpa, Paul Kim, and Elliot Radler. In November 2021, the three of them, then freshmen, were walking around the Livingston Mall when Vineeth was struck with the show’s initial idea.
Over the next few months, Vineeth, Paul, and Elliot would develop the project’s story, forming a simple idea into the basis of a five-episode series. Elliot, who took the lead, would spend around three hours a day working on the project: writing scripts and shot lists, shooting, editing, working on visual effects, and marketing.

When asked about what made him so excited to work on the show, Elliot stated, “My passion for Cadburry comes from my desire to share my vision with others. Cadburry is a fast-paced Sci-fi/Action series, which makes you slow down and reflect on what you just watched.”
Despite Elliot’s overall enjoyment of the process, the production of Cadburry wasn't always smooth sailing. Most scenes were shot in the Livingston Mall, Livingston Senior Center, or the Livingston Presbyterian Church, where special permission was needed to film. Many required complex shots and stunts with six to twelve people needed on set, making coordination very important.
Making Cadburry a reality was thus a massive undertaking, and Elliot was sure to highlight the people who helped him along the way. The production of the show involved twenty LHS student actors, eight LHS student crew members, and four LHS students involved with post-production. Overall, the total cast and crew of Cadburry is roughly 40 people.
After years of hard work and dedication, the first three episodes of the show are nearing completion. In April 2024, the first trailer for the show was released on the Official Cadburry Youtube Channel, with the final trailer releasing in April 2025.
Episode 1, titled “The Place That Never Sleeps”, is set to premiere on June 9th at 7:00 pm in the Livingston High School Auditorium. Admission is free, and those who attend will not only get to watch Episode 1 but also get exclusive looks at Episodes 2 & 3, and a Q&A with the show’s creators.
For anyone who can’t make the premiere, they can visit cadburry.org, and with a one-time purchase of $10, can stream all episodes of the show, with episodes releasing weekly. Episode 1 will be released June 13th, followed by Episode 2 on June 20th, and Episode 3 on June 27th.
Elliot wants to reiterate that the show is not 100% complete, stating it’ll take another year to finish the final two episodes. Still, if you’re looking for your next thriller TV series, there’s no reason not to check out Cadburry.
The first episode is set to premier on Monday, June 9 at 7 p.m. in the Livingston High School auditorium. The showing is open to the public; admission is free and no registration is required.
