Livingston High School ranks 980 in the nation, according to Newsweek's most recent rankings of the top schools in the United States. Only a little more than 1,600 schools — or 6 percent of all public schools in the nation — made the cut.
Other NJ schools cited in the rankings include Millburn High School, McNair Academic in Jersey City, High Technology in Lincroft and Ridge High School in Basking Ridge, among others including Summit, Madison and Westfield.
Rankings are made based largely on school's performances on advanced placement and college level instructional work. For a complete listing, click here.
