NJ Guide Dog Nonprofit Will Visit Livingston For Info Session

Organizers: "You won't want to miss this inspiring, fun and adorable session. You might even get a snuggle or two from a cute little pup."

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A New Jersey nonprofit will be taking a trip to Livingston in March, and they’ll be bringing along an adorable pal: a guide dog puppy.

Morristown-based nonprofit The Seeing Eye Inc. will be visiting the Livingston Senior/Community Center on Wednesday, March 6 to hold an informational session about their mission: “to enhance the independence, dignity and self-confidence of blind people through the use of Seeing Eye dogs.”

The event in Livingston will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. The event is free; donations will be accepted.

Pre-registration is required online at Community Pass or in-person at the SYLS Offices, 204 Hillside Avenue, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

“We'll be serving light refreshments and will be collecting pennies for puppies to donate to this wonderful organization,” event organizers said. “You won't want to miss this inspiring, fun and adorable session. You might even get a snuggle or two from a cute little pup.”
