NJ Transit Adds Extra Trains for Yankees Parade
Two extra trains will help Livingston fans get back to Millburn-Short Hills.

NJ Transit is planning extra trains on Friday to accomodate Yankees fans returning from the parade to celebrate the World Series Championship in Manhattan.
The parade is scheduled for 11 a.m. in the Canyon of Heroes. The parade will start on Broadway at Battery Place and continue northbound to Chambers Street. A ceremony will follow at City Hall Plaza.
Those who are traveling to the game fromMillburn-Short Hills can take the train either to Hoboken Terminal or Newark Penn Station to connect with PATH or to Penn Station and connect with the subway system.
Fans who connect with PATH in Newark or Hoboken should take the train to the World Trade Center station, which is one block from the parade route. The fare is $1.75 each way.

Those taking the train to Penn Station and then connecting to the subway can take the 1 train downtown to Rector Street, the 2 or 3 train to Park Place, the A or C train to Fulton Street or the E train to World Trade Center.
NJ Transit will add six total trains following the parade and two additional on the Morris & Essex line, which serves Millburn-Short Hills. The two extra trains, headed to Summit/Dover, will leave from New York at 1:28 p.m. and 2:20 p.m.

- For schedule and fare information, visit njtransit.com/Yankees before starting your trip or call 973-275-5555.
- Purchase round-trip tickets at your boarding location to speed your return trip. Remember there is a $5 surcharge for tickets purchased aboard the train.
- Travel after 9 a.m. to avoid the busy morning travel period.
- Parking at many stations is limited during midday hours. Consider having someone drop you off at the station.
