NJ Transit Bus Delayed In Essex County When 3 Women Fight: Police
A NJ Transit bus was delayed in Essex County last week when police responded to an aggravated assault.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A NJ Transit bus was delayed last week after a fight involving three women, police said.
The Maplewood police said that they responded on Dec. 20 to Springfield and Burnett avenues on a report of an assault on an NJ Transit bus.
After an on-scene investigation, police determined that there was a physical altercation between three females, they said.

One of them was sprayed in the face with pepper spray, and the other two then fled the bus, police said.
The person who was sprayed was taken to the local hospital with minor injuries, police said.

The Maplewood Police are working with NJ Transit Police to investigate the incident further.
