Olympic Gold Medal Winner Visits Livingston School

Show and tell never got any better for the first grade class at Harrison Elementary School in Livingston.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Show and tell never got any better for the first grade class at Harrison Elementary School.

During a visit to the Livingston school on Sept. 15, U.S. Rowing Olympic gold medalist Katelin Snyder dropped in for her cousin Matthew Smith’s show and tell session, imparting some valuable life lessons and motivational advice for a classroom full of students.

Snyder – who coxed the US Women's 8+ to a gold medal in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio De Janeiro – let the eager students pass around her medal and told them that it’s hard work to make your dreams come true.
