One Livingston Home Ransacked, 1 Burglarly Foiled: Police
Livingston police responded to two homes last week about a burglary and an attempted burglary, they said.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston police reported that last week, burglars ransacked one home in the township, but were scared off from another.
Police said that on June 22, at 9:46 p.m., they responded to a Michele Lane residence on a report of three suspects in the backyard trying to gain access to the residence.
Upon officers' arrival, the suspects had already been scared off by the homeowner, police said. The case is being investigated by the Livingston Detective Bureau.

On June 23, at 9:46 p.m., Livingston officers responded to a Westmount Drive residence on a report of a burglary to the home, police said.
Homeowners said they who returned home and found the rear door shattered and multiple rooms ransacked.

They are compiling a list of stolen items for police. The Detective Bureau is investigating.
