LIVINGSTON, NJ — Baby girl Liana Maria didn't wait very long into 2023 to announce herself as Baby New Year at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J.
Little Liana was born at 12:07 a.m., a hospital spokesperson said.
The first baby of 2023 at the hospital weighed 8 lbs., 12 oz., and was 21 inches in length.

The proud parents are Lauren and Steve. The hospital spokesperson couldn't say where the family lives, to respect their privacy.
"Happy and healthy New Year!" the hospital said.
