Peaceful George Floyd Protest In Livingston: No Justice, No Peace
Protesters rallied in the name of George Floyd in Livingston, New Jersey.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — Shows of solidarity against police brutality took place in Livingston earlier this week, drawing people from across the township.
A pair of Livingston natives helped to spearhead rallies on Sunday and Monday at the intersection of Mount Pleasant and Livingston avenues. During the peaceful gatherings, which were held to honor the memory of George Floyd, demonstrators waved signs and got honks of support from passing vehicles, NorthJersey.com reported.
Photos of the rally showed dozens of peaceful-yet-emotional protesters holding signs that read "No Justice, No Peace" and "Say Their Names."
