Police Arrest Suspect in One House Burglary; Additional Home Burglary remains under Investigation
The following information has been provided by the Livingston Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Livingston police are crediting an alert neighbor who called police after witnessing suspicious activity on West Northfield Road last Tuesday.
The neighbor saw a woman entering the front door of the home at 80 W. Northfield Road and called police, according to Livingston police Det. Sgt. Ronald Barbella. The homeowner was not home at the time of the burglary.
When police arrived, they arrested 21-year-old Amber Nett of Bloomingdale as she stood on the front steps of the home, Barbella said.

Livingston police are also investigating a home burglary last Wednesday on Sunshine Lane.
According to Barbella, a homeowner at 12 Sunshine Lane called police after a rear slider door was punched out with a barbecue cover.
Barbella said the interior master bedroom and walk-in closet had also been ransacked during the incident.
Police called in the Essex County canine unit, he said, but after initially tracking the scent, the dogs lost the scent in the Rainbow Ridge area.
