Police are investigating a bomb threat found at Livingston High School on Monday afternoon.
At about 2:50 p.m., at the end of the school day, Livingston police were notified of the threat, which was a written statement found on the wall of a boys' bathroom. Bomb squads from the Essex County sheriff's office and the Newark Police department were called for assistance and bomb-sniffing dogs were also used to check the school. No explosives were found.
This is not the first time this year a bomb threat has been found at the school; there were a series of threats made in the fall, which the Board of Education condemned.
