Recently Move To Livingston? Get Up To Speed At Local Event

New residents to Livingston can meet their neighbors and local community leaders – and get some inside advice about life in the township.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — New to Livingston and looking to make some friends? Yearning to meet some local community leaders and get some helpful tips about life in the township? Mark down Monday, Sept. 16 on your calendar.

That’s the date of the town’s “Welcome to Livingston” event, which will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue.

Here’s what to expect, according to town officials:

“While there, new residents can enjoy refreshments and giveaways, while learning about Livingston and meeting other residents. Town council members, educators from Livingston Public Schools, staff members from various township departments, and a diverse group of community members and volunteers will be there to meet residents and provide helpful information.”

Guests are asked to RSVP to Cori Chiarolanzio, acting human services coordinator, at 973-535-7961, ext. #7102, or email cchiarolanzio@livingstonnj.org (provide your name, address, and the number of people attending).

New residents are also encouraged to visit the New Residents page on the township website at livingstonnj.org/NewResidents.
