The thrift shop at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Livingston is ending the 2014-2015 season with its 59th annual indoor rummage sale. Doors open at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2. Both the selling room and the rummage room will have reduced prices. St. Peter’s Thrift Shop provides quality clothing, linens, household goods, sporting goods, toys, and books at bargain prices. Clothing is freely given to victims of fires and other disasters; whatever is not sold is given away to the needy. Donations to other outreach organizations this past year have included Apostle’s House, the Veteran’s Administration Hospital, and Halos For Angels, Inc. Donations of gently used and new items will continue to be appreciated throughout the summer and next season.
