Remembering the Borscht Belt @ TBA

Temple B’nai Abraham ’s Prime Time Invites you to An Afternoon in “The Borscht Belt,” on Sunday, February 21, 2016, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the temple, located at 300 East Northfield Road, Livingston. The cost is $5.00 per person. Bring Your Friends! Refreshments will be served.

Join us as Marty Schneit, Borscht Belt historian, brings back our fond memories of the Catskills. His video presentation and discussion will regale us with tales of the renowned hotels, the unknown entertainers who made it big (Berle, Caesar, Burns and others) and the entire “scene”. Let’s play “Simon Says” one more time! Bring your photos of the Catskills to share with the group.

The Prime Time Group is geared to those over 55 but membership is open to all. Ethel Singer serves as Prime Time Chair.
