Revamped Thrift Shop Reopens for 6oth Year
Volunteers at the non-profit St. Peter’s Thrift Shop in Livingston have been busy painting, reorganizing, and stocking racks and shelves for its 60th season opening on Tuesday, September 8th. One room displays clothes and accessories for sale, such as shoes, purses, belts, jewelry, hats, socks, and scarves. There’s no need to waste time and money hunting for a bargain. Come here to find brand new never worn scarves, including infinity and pashminas, many still in their packaging. They make great gifts!
Our second selling room has collectibles, household goods, linens, knitting/sewing supplies, sports equipment, books, art, movies, music, art and school supplies, electronics, toys, and games. The shop will continue to be open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering deals that can’t be beat. That’s our way of giving back to the community, along with bags and boxes of donations to other outreach groups, such as the Apostle’s House, the Vietnam Veterans, and the United War Veterans Council. At this time, we are not accepting book donations, as we have them in abundance. If interested in volunteering, please email us at thriftshop@stpetersliv.com
