ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Several North Jersey rivers flooded early Wednesday after a storm, and another rainstorm is predicted to bring 1-2 inches to the area late Friday night. Track the Passaic and Rahway River flood stages with links below.
The town of Fairfield offered sandbags to residents after several roads closed on Wednesday.
"Currently, the river is expected to reach 21'9" by 1 a.m., Thursday morning," the town said on Tuesday. "We are expecting major flooding if these levels are reached."
