Securis Data Destruction, Electronic Waste Disposal Franchise Opening in North Jersey

Securis has just announced an April 30th Grand Opening at 11:30 am with the ribbon cutting ceremony at Noon at their location in Livingston.

With growing concerns about personal and corporate data security, there remains a lack of awareness of information that stays on old computers and other devices when they are discarded – let alone the impact of electronic devices on the environment.

“Improperly destroyed hard drives contain critical data and pose a threat of breach to companies and agencies,” says Securis franchisee Chris Noseworthy. “We offer businesses environmentally responsible ways to recycle and/or destroy old computers and other devices, knowing that any information on them will be gone forever.”

Securis provides a full range of secure disposal services for private and public sector companies and government entities. This includes ultra-secure electronics recycling, auditing, hard drive shredding and other data destruction services for PCs, laptops, mobile phones, servers, monitors, copiers, printers and other data storage devices and electronics waste.

Noseworthy notes that most individuals and companies do not fully realize the risks of data thieves getting their hands on sensitive personal data from hard drives on discarded devices.

“Where do these things go when you throw them out? What happens to hard drive data when you recycle electronics? What hazardous materials are found in electronics and how can they impact the environment?”

Securis has been recycling electronics and destroying data for more than a decade and has worked with some of the largest federal government contractors in the world to provide secure destruction and recycling services for large-scale Federal IT contracts.
