Seven Unlocked Livingston Cars Burglarized And 2 Stolen: Police
The two cars that were stolen had their key fobs inside, a Livingston police detective said.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — After a string of car burglaries and a car theft on Memorial Day, the Livingston police said that they had to deal with another string.
The police said that seven vehicles were burglarized and two were stolen in the period from June 8 to June 9.
One Lincoln Nautilus was stolen from East Cedar Street during that period, police said. It has been recovered.

A Range Rover was stolen on the evening of June 9 from Wahler Road, and has also been recovered, police said.
It's believed that both cars had their key fobs inside, police said.

The vehicle break-ins occurred on the following streets: East Mt. Pleasant Avenue (two reports), Driftwood Drive, Mountain Ridge Drive, Scarsdale Drive, Hemlock Road, and Prospect Road.
Amid the vehicle break-ins, one owner reported that credit cards and checks were stolen, but not much else was taken, said a detective.
"In all of the vehicle burglaries, the vehicles were unlocked," police said.
