Several Home Burglary Attempts Reported By Livingston Residents Last Week
Several Livingston residents heard or saw intruders enter their home in the last week and called police.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston police were called on several occasions last week by residents who reported intruders on their property.
Last Tuesday, Aug. 30, at 3:38 p.m., someone called police to report two people in the rear yard of their Canterbury Road residence. The person reported to police that the intruders had tried to get into a Range Rover there, but it was locked. The intruders eventually realized the person inside the home saw them, so they ran into a Jeep that was waiting, police said.
Soon after, at 4:15, Livingston police responded to a Rosewood Court residence on a report of an attempted burglary to the home. Upon the officers' arrival, the homeowner said they heard a back door open, and then they saw an intruder.
