'Shine a Light on Autism' Event in Livingston Aims to Raise Awareness

Participants will wear blue and take a lap around the Gazebo at the Oval.

In solidarity with autism awareness, the Livingston Advisory Committee for Disabilities and the Livingston Department of Senior, Youth & Leisure Services will host a “Shine a Light on Autism” event from 7 to 8 p.m., on Thursday April 30.

The event will take place at the Gazebo at the Oval, on Robert Harp Drive.

According to a release, participants will wear blue and take a lap around the oval, and should come with lawn chairs and blue lanterns or lights.

Drinks and snacks will be available. Proceeds will go to Autism Speaks.
